Steve, myself, Tyler and his best bud, Jamaal attended. It was spiritual, enlighting, and an overall enjoyable evening. It is so refreshing to see young men that still have values, character and interigity plus be true athletes. Tyler and Jamaal were in heaven seeing and meeting their favorite playesrs. It started off with about 60 hopefuls. After 2 days of tryouts, they cut it to 12. He made the top 12 and got to scrimmage with the other 11 in the Marriott Center. Most were former Junior College players and some D-!, D-II players. Well...he made it! He now has a locker in the Marriott Center, new Cougar shoes and playing with the fellas. They also gave him two ankle braces. He thought that was the coolest part. Didn't even have to go buy them. It is a red-shirt type position, so don't look for him on ESPN, yet. Playing time will probably come next year. As I heard the news, at first I was shocked, tears and overwhelming sadness over took me, and then as I regained my composer, Steve, Tyler and myself, discussed our wonderful Prophet!<br />How blessed we have been for 13 years to have such a Witty, Humble, Inspirational, Intelligent, Caring and Loving Prophet. I could only imagine his beautiful wife awaiting his homecoming what a joyous event that must have been! I'm sure the heavens were open arms for such a GREAT man. He will be Missed! Today we can all remember him by trying to follow his example. Maybe calling a friend, or extending some small jester of kindness. We, as Latter Day Saints are so very blessed to have a Prophet on the earth today. I just wanted to share my feelings with all of you and let you know that I know this church is true and how thankful and humble I am for this calling, how grateful I am for the priesthood, a wonderful husband and a beautiful family, AND for wonderful teachers &amp; counselors, and the great examples you are to me! </div><div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/7820944786768299721-3439178699064916928?l=sdboyack.blogspot.com' alt='' /></div>Dana Boyackhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09489551705521016584noreply@blogger.com1
